Caring for your candle

A few things you need to note for the best candle performance…

  • Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch - this helps to prevent the smell of soot

  • The size of the candle works in proportion to the size of the space. The bigger the space, the bigger the candle needed to fill up the room with scent

  • Never let your candle burn for more than 4 hours. However, our personal advice is to check the heat of your candle vessel at the 2 hour mark

  • For each burn, it’s best to let your candles reach a full melt pool for an even burn - this usually takes an hour or two!

  • Never leave your lit candle unattended!

  • Ensure your lit candle is away from draft and air currents to help steady your flame for an even burn. Putting a candle in the presence of these will produce an uneven burn and you will probably smell more soot than scent!
